Michelle Eisen is an Akron-based Zambian-American transdisciplinary teaching-artist working at the intersection of printmaking, textiles, and painting. She completed her Masters of Fine Art in 2024 at Kent State University. Both her studio and teaching practices center exploration, sensitivity, and an awareness of material agency. Her passion for Academic Support has lead her to develop a practice that aims to support students through institution education and empowerment. Her work has been exhibited in galleries throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Florida.
She is currently a resident Artist at Zygote Press in Cleveland, where she teaches workshops and one-on-one sessions focused on Intaglio and Silkscreen processes.
