Spend your lunch hour hearing from Tajik photographer Shuhrat Saidov as he discusses his artistic practice during Lunch on Fridays from 12:15 to 1:30pm Friday, October 18 in CIA's Peter B. Lewis Theater.

Shuhrat Saidov (Tajikistan) is a human rights defender, photographer and curator with a background in legal education. Working in the fields of public health and human rights, Saidov engages in the advocacy and promotion of human rights across Tajikistan. As an artist, he develops socially conscious photography projects. His curatorial work takes place in art schools, in collaboration with artists and activists working toward advancing human rights, gender equality, tolerance, feminism and gender diversity through exhibitions making.

Shuhrat Saidov is an ArtsLink International Fellow 2024 hosted by ATNSC: Center for Healing and Creative Leadership. The Fellowship is supported by CEC ArtsLink.
