Gifts to the Cleveland Institute of Art’s annual fund are a crucial component of the college’s funding mix, helping to bridge the gap between tuition revenue, investment income and operating expenses. The percentage of alumni giving to CIA’s annual fund is consistently ranked as one of the highest in the country among colleges of art and design, sending a powerful message about the value our graduates place upon their years here. Each year thousands of loyal alumni and friends, corporations, foundations and government sources provide support to CIA’s annual fund, contributing nearly $1 million toward the college’s annual operating budget.
