Learning Disability Orientation

As part of StART, the Office of Learning Support Services provides a workshop specifically for students with documented learning disabilities (e.g., ADD, ADHD, and dyslexia). The program is offered for free and takes place right before the StART program begins in the evening.

Students attending the workshop will:

• Be trained on assistive technology available at CIA
• Attend seminars on study skills and time management 
• Become acquainted with the Learning Support Services Office 
• Submit and review all learning disability documentation

Important Orientation Information

• The Learning Disability Orientation runs from 9:30am – 4pm on Sunday, June 30, 2013.
• View this past year’s Learning Disability Orientation Agenda.
• Parents are invited to the first and final sessions of the Orientation.
• You must register separately for both StART and the Learning Disability Orientation. The deadline to register is June 27, 2012.
• Please bring all relevant documentation (i.e. official diagnoses, test scores, etc.) to the orientation.
