Come to a creative school and expect creative ways to celebrate. Many small events occur throughout the year, but three times a year Cleveland Institute of Art students can expect a school-wide event that brings them together to celebrate.
Historically, pork was a part of this end-of-the-year party…but hasn’t been seen at a Pink Pig celebration for years. Now the food includes vegetarian fare and the events include inflatable slides. At this final party of the academic year students join faculty and staff at one of Cleveland’s signature MetroParks one last time before heading out for the summer.
In the tradition of Mardi Gras, this mid-winter party launches CIA’s second semester – reconnecting friends after winter break. It’s an evening of masks, music, food, and prizes.
CIA students never disappoint when it comes to unique Halloween costumes, which could by why this event is one of the largest each year. Expect both traditional and unexpected Halloween food and events – along with a much-anticipated costume contest.
