Plain Dealer reporter Steven Litt spoke with Grafton Nunes, the newly minted president of The Cleveland Institute of Art

President Nunes Profiled in Plain Dealer

With a background in filmmaking and decades of experience in college administration, President Nunes brings fresh ideas—and big goals—to the 128-year-old college of art and design.

Read Plain Dealer reporter Steven Litt’s profile of Nunes from the newspaper’s September 10 issue. And check out the Plain Dealer’s editorial opinion published September 12.

Grafton Nunes began his term as president of The Cleveland Institute of Art on July 1, and was formally inaugurated at the Institute’s fall convocation on August 27.

For an inside perspective on CIA’s new president, read a Q+A with President Nunes or watch his Fall 2010 welcome video.
