The Photography + Video Department at Cleveland Institute of Art welcomes visiting artist Jessica Eaton to present a lecture on Wednesday, February 4 beginning at 6:30pm in Aitken Auditorium. Eaton’s presentation will be accompanied by her exhibition Wild Permutations at MOCA Cleveland February 6 - May 24, opening February 6, 7-11:30pm. In addition, Eaton's work will be included in Process and Abstraction at the Transformer Station February 7-May 2, opening February 7, 7-9pm.
Vibrant and enigmatic, Jessica Eaton’s work considers the very nature of photography. Using a large format film camera, Eaton has developed an increasingly complex, experimental approach to image making. Wild Permutations, the artist’s first solo museum show, focuses on her investigations into the behavior and production of color.
