Spend a lunch hour learning about the latest in art and design during these Friday lectures. Each lecture features a variety of artists and designers from around the world, including CIA faculty and visiting artists.
Kasumi will discuss Shockwaves, a feature-length experimental film created with funding from her 2011 Guggenheim Fellowship; Breakdown, a work commissioned from the American Composers Orchestra and premiered at Carnegie Hall; her Perpetual Series featured at Art Week Miami, unpainted Media Art Fair, Munich and installed in DC Tower, Vienna; and her work-in-progress developed during her residency at The MacDowell Colony in July.
This event is free and open to the public. Pizza and beverages will be provided.
