Annual National Juried Show:
78th National Midyear Exhibition (Youngstown)
This annual juried exhibition is open to artists over 18 years of age who reside within the United States and/or its territories. This year the show will be judged by nationally known painter Ben Schonzeit. The show is now being juried. Results will be sent to artists in late May.
Steven Mastroianni ('88) was accepted to the Butler Institute of Art National Midyear Exhibition. The piece, "The Bride in Black", is one of a recent series of large scale nine panel photographic portraits he has been creating and exhibiting in his own gallery space. His studio, Steven Mastroianni Photography and Arts, which has been a mainstay of the Tremont neighborhood for five years, recently moved to a new location (still in Tremont, at 2687 W. 14th St.), and continues to function as a full time photography studio and exhibition space for area artists, and is open to the public during the monthly Tremont Artwalk and by appointment.
For more on Mastroianni's work visit Steven Mastroianni.
