BRUNO CASIANO GALLERY GRAND RE OPENING IN DETROIT SHOREWAY
Taking Another Twist to Art
Bruno Casiano Gallery grand re-opening will open its door on June 14th 2013, from 6 pm to 10 pm. Located in the Detroit Shoreway Arts District at 5304 Detroit Ave., the gallery is known for its distinctive look once known as a speakeasy and one of the oldest building in the area constructed in 1867.
Gallery owner and artist Bruno Casiano will feature his work at the opening. Casiano is a well known Cleveland and international artist. He has exhibited his work titled “Cleveland” in the prestige’s “Muestra National de Arte in 2009” curated and selected by the Institute of Culture in old San Juan, Puerto Rico. Casiano will be exhibiting over 20 pieces of earlier and recent art work.
Casiano studied art at the Altos de Chavon, Parson School of Design in Dominican Republic, Escuela de Artes Plastica de Puerto Rico and The Cleveland Institute of Art.
Casiano and his wife are aiming to make this place unique just as the building, where artists come and share and sell their works of art. The gallery is scheduled to have monthly events as poetry reading, dance recitals, art discussions, community gathering, and private events.
