Lunch on Fridays: Focus on Craft: Amy Sinbondit

Spend a lunch hour learning about the latest in art and design during these Friday lectures. Each lecture features a variety of artists and designers from around the world, including CIA faculty and visiting artists.

CIA Technical Specialist, Amy Krusinski Sinbondit, Ceramics, is a ceramic artist creating sculptural forms that invoke the rhythm of movement and vitality of color to engage the viewer. Amy earned her BFA from The University of Toledo and MFA in Ceramics from the Rhode Island School of Design. Most recently, she was commissioned as a featured artist in the Cleveland Museum of Art's new Gallery One which includes Amy's instructional videos and interactive video app. She has worked in the ceramics studio at the Haystack Mountain School for Crafts, the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, and Syracuse University. In addition to her studio practice, Amy teaches in the Foundation Department at CIA, and is the Technical Specialist for CIA's Ceramics Department.

This event is free and open to the public. Pizza and beverages will be provided.
