Bill Smith currently lives and works in O’Fallom, Illinois and holds a BS in Science from Southern Illinois University, a MFA in Sculpture from University of Illinois and a technical degree in Diesel Mechanics from Ranken Technical Institute. In 2008 he received the Nimoy Foundation Grant, in 2009 he was awarded a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and in 2010 he was an artist in residence at the Fabric Workshop and Museum, Philadelphia. Bill Smith has exhibited within the United States as well as abroad.
