This direct-cinema classic, one of the key documentary features of the 1960s, follows four different door-to-door Bible salesmen (nicknamed “The Rabbit,” “The Badger,” “The Bull,” and “The Gipper”) as they call on potential buyers in Boston and Miami. The movie was selected for the Library of Congress’ National Film Registry in 1992. J.M. Tyree, who penned the 2012 BFI Film Classics volume on Salesman will introduce and discuss the movie and sell and sign his book.
