Chroniques Sexulles D'Une Famille D'Aujourd'Hui
France | 2012 | Pascal Arnold, Jean-Marc Barr
Our second film at the Capitol tonight (see previous blurb) is a comedy that could have been titled French Pie. When teenager Romain is caught masturbating in biology class, his distressed mother decides that their family needs to be more open about sex. Pretty soon everyone in Romain’s three-generation family—his sister, brother, mother, father, and grandfather—is not only talking about sex, but engaging in it (no incest, thankfully). Talk about TMI! No one under 18 admitted!
Shown at the Capitol Theatre, 1390 W. 65th St. at Detroit Ave. Regular Cinematheque prices apply, but no second-film discount. Also no Cinematheque passes, twofers, or radio winners and no Cleveland Cinemas passes or discounts. $9 tickets available in advance at www.clevelandcinemas.com. Free parking available next to theatre and at other lots in the Gordon Square Arts District. Special thanks to Jon Forman and Dave Huffman, Cleveland Cinemas.
