Dec. 10-13 Turkish teenage rape victim targeted for "honor" killing in powerful drama BLISS In BLISS , a Turkish teenage rape victim is escorted by her male cousin to Istanbul, where (unbeknownst to her) he plans to carry out her honor killing on behalf of her family. This moving and surprising drama was hailed by The New York Times as "a landmark of contemporary Turkish cinema" in this rave review . See it Thursday or Friday. Rarely shown, this vignette-laden travelogue and dream/memory piece contains some of the maestro's most memorable segments, all set to music by the great Nino Rota. See it in a new 35mm color print this Saturday or Sunday. However, the Fellini movies don't end this weekend. We've added a 10th film -- Fellini's Oscar-winning 1974 autobiography "Amarcord," in a new, restored 35mm color print -- on Saturday, January 9 at 5:00 pm and Sunday, January 10 at 4:00 pm. If you didn't see it when we first showed it in April, don't miss it this time around. It's one of many great films coming in January and February.
