iVoxel

03/01/13  |  Posted by Reid Jacobs  |  Posted in Digital Canvas - Apps & Accessories

VirSyn created a new audio tool for mixing called iVoxel! iVoxel is a voice optimizing synthesizer and a vocoder all in one for the iPad and iPhone. The vocoder aspect of this app is the same one that VirSyn provides for its professional clients like the famous German group Kraftwerk. iVoxel has a rich sound that comes from the channel filters. These filters have been modeled after the Sennheiser Vocoder VSM201. This app also has the ability to change your voice patterns such as pitch, gender, and even breath noise between words. Become the lead singer of your favorite band by importing a song into iVoxel and replacing the singers voice with your own! iVoxel has been equipped with hundreds of prerecorded voxels to match your voice to the music track. Any composition created in iVoxel can be exported as a plain music file that would be the equivalent of a PDF file. This allows you to import your work into other applications that use imported music. You can also share your work on Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube directly from the app. To get started working with iVoxel for $9.99, visit the iTunes store today!
