123D Creature

02/25/13  |  Posted by Reid Jacobs  |  Posted in Digital Canvas - Apps & Accessories

123D Creature by Autodesk is a one-of-a-kind monster maker! The process starts with a simple wire stick figure to set the gesture and then mold your creature’s body like you would clay. 123D Creature also allows you to render your monster after it has been sculpted. Use an array of tools and filters to bring your creature to life! 123D Creatures has a built in lighting studio as well where you can choose lighting, textures, and backdrops. Have your monster terrorize a city or be on an alien planet light-years away with a simple flick of the finger! The monsters that you create in 123D Creature are also able to be exported to 3D printers. If you do not have access to your own 3D printer, Autodesk has one ready for you when you need it! Just send a render of your artwork to Autodesk and choose a material that you would like your monster to be printed with. Choose from a range of plastics, rubbers, silicone, and even some metals available for printing. To get started working with 123D Creature for $7.99, visit the iTunes store!
