The app integrates onion skinning, which is a ghosting effect that allows the previous frame to be seen overlayed with the current frame being worked on, to assist in frame-by-frame animations. The app also supports layers and the option to insert a video as a background element or a static photograph. In the animation palette, choose from a variety of pressure sensitive painting tools to use with a Wacom Tablet! The app also boasts a palm rejection feature to allow a comfortable workflow without activating other parts of the screen. When the animation is complete export to PDF or share on Anizone, an exclusive YouTube platform where Animation Desk users share their animations and get feedback and comments from the Animation Desk community.
