Blog . Units
More often then not, artists come across strange and elaborate conversions when planning out projects. Units was designed by Home Grown S.W. to help you in situations like these. This app can convert any numerical value form mass and volume all the way to electromagnetic radiation and computer data flow rates. So if you are a metals major, for example, and you had 5 kg of silver with a density of 0.000476 and wanted to know the density of that same amount in gold, you could plug it into Units and find that it is 0.000259. This app is a wonderful way to save time and lower the margin for error when planing out your projects. To get started using all 43 categories of conversions, Units can be found on the iTunes Store for free.
