We wanted to pay tribute to Paul Newman with a showing of BUTCH CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID last fall, but we scrapped the idea when we learned that there were no un-faded film prints of the movie available. Now, however, there is a new 35mm color and scope print of this hit 1970 comedy/Western/romance and we've got it this weekend! Come see this Friday and Saturday arguably the greatest color film noir ever made, LEAVE HER TO HEAVEN. Don't miss the RED PSALM the new 35mm color print (from Hungary) this Saturday or Sunday! SHADOWS, showing Thursday and Friday, is the new film from Milcho Manchevski, the director of the modern classic "Before the Rain." "Shadows" is a supernatural mystery/thriller inspired by the Balkan peninsula's recent, traumatic history. This week's schedule
