CIA Professors Doug Paige and Bob Martinez will be teaching the Pre-College course, Industrial Design, this summer. Doug has been a Professor of Industrial Design at CIA since 1988 where he also teaches Designing for Sustainability and Biomimicry. This course provides a framework for comparing photographic philosophies. Students develop critical and theoretical skills in photography by examining historical and contemporary practices with respect to image, concept, form, and process. These ideas are investigated through critical readings, writings, discussions and verbal presentations. Offered fall. 3 credits.
