Professional Photography Facilities

As a Photography major at one of the premier colleges of art and design, you will work in your own studio space in addition to spacious facilities equipped with film-based, color and black-and-white darkrooms, a full-featured digital imaging and printing laboratory, and editing and computing facilities for video and 16mm film. You also will have access to state-of-the-art lighting studios, including a 1,200 square-foot Light Side Lighting Studio with a 24-foot ceiling and two-story windows as well as an almost 900 square-foot Dark Side Lighting Studio with a 12-foot ceiling and a curtain system for light control. Additional equipment also available to you comprises:

• Black-and-white, dip-and-dunk film processing
• Color and black-and-white enlargers
• Color management software
• Medium- and large-format cameras
