Invent Your Future

To invent is to discover, iterate and create. Invent Your Future will be an experience that exposes you to designers and thinkers who discovered their own career path.

They will share examples of effective strategies for differentiating yourself, pursuing your passions and making a difference by walking you through some practical techniques that they have learned and refined over the years.

Invent Your Future promises to be an outstanding example of professionals, especially alumni, who are passionate about giving back to their college and perpetuating a culture of excellence. Invent Your Future was initiated by Ruth Kucklick-Prentice ’09, who rallied our speakers to converge at CIA at the time of our next great transition…moving to our unified campus. This event will be an excellent start in the transition from old to new and will present an opportunity for students and professionals to learn and network.

Invent Your Future would not be possible without the financial support of:

  • CIA Department of Industrial Design
  • Dan Cuffaro ’91 and Corey N. Thrush ‘99
  • Chandler and Marsha Everett
  • Ted Kucklick ‘84
  • Luxion, Inc., the Makers of KeyShot
  • Newell Rubbermaid
