CIA Professors Doug Paige and Bob Martinez will be teaching the Pre-College course, Industrial Design, this summer. Doug has been a Professor of Industrial Design at CIA since 1988 where he also teaches Designing for Sustainability and Biomimicry. Along with being an industrial design instructor at CIA, Bob is also the founder and director of RGM Design LLC. Learn more about Doug and Bob, as well as this course at http://ow.ly/lcrih.

CIA's iPad Curriculum Turns Two

Academics . For Teachers + Counselors . NEXT 

NEXT

NEXT is the Cleveland Institute of Art's high school program that introduces the professional world of art and design to high school and transfer students who are interested in pursuing a career in the visual arts.

This day-long event is designed to help your students answer their questions about pursuing a career in art or design: How do I become a creative director, fine artist, illustrator, or a product designer? Is there job security? Where can I get a job?

 At NEXT you and your students will:

  • Meet and ask questions of art and design professionals at the NEXT Panel Discussion
  • Work hands-on with CIA faculty during NEXT Workshops
  • Understand that there are successful careers in the visual arts

 


NEXT is an interdisciplinary program that addresses numerous career paths and professional fields including:
