Four High School Students Awarded in CIA's National 2D3D Art + Design Contest

Academics . Curriculum . International + Domestic Study . New York Studio Residency Program

New York Studio Residency Program

New York City has the highest concentration of working artists and designers, and CIA students have the opportunity to work alongside some of them.

In the New York Studio Residency Program, students intern in the studio of one of New York’s top art and design professionals, while creating work in their own independent studio. Students participate in this program in either the fall or spring semester.

You pay tuition to CIA, so all financial aid and scholarships remain active.

Eligibility

You are eligible for the NYSP if you are a third year student and in good academic standing. The areas that are eligible for independent study are:

  • Painting
  • Sculpture
  • Photography
  • New & Mixed Media
  • Digital Arts & Video
  • Fiber Arts
  • Related Visual Arts
