Industrial Design 2.1
Course No. IND 335 Credits: 3.0
This course will focus on in-depth design exploration, placing an emphasis on high-level research, innovative concept generation and refinement focused on problem solving and manufacturability. Semester projects will focus on sustainability and furniture, the latter project requiring a full-size functional prototype. Project themes are intended to cover key critical information, while tailoring material to individual interests. Regular formal reviews will enable individuals to develop verbal and visual presentation skills, and formal lectures will be balanced against one-on-one in-studio instruction Prerequisite: IND 236. 3 credits.
