About . Leadership
President Grafton J. Nunes came to CIA as the 10th president to serve the college. Under his leadership, President Nunes is responsible for overseeing the Campus Unification Project and building community connections to help CIA achieve its long-term goals. For more information, visit the Office of the President.
Assisting the efforts of the president are seven members of the executive administration. Some members of the administrative team are artists themselves, while other members have had a long-standing career in higher education.
CIA is governed by a Board of Directors that is responsible for managing the college’s financial assets and ensuring CIA’s long-term success. Many of its members are alumni, professional artists and designer, and community members who strongly support the arts.
To nurture the intellectual, artistic, and professional development of students and community members through rigorous visual arts and design education.
To advance culture, community, and global quality of life.
